Spring Lake and the Beach

Wednesday was a doozy.

We wore ourselves out and probably my parents too.

It was another hot day, so we decided to go the the lake first, and early.

We got there right as the boat rental shack opened.

Chris and Ben got a two seater paddle boat, and us girls got a four seater.

My parents walked all the kiddies around the lake.

It was quite a workout, but really a lot of fun.

After wearing ourselves out for an hour out on the lake, we came home to have some lunch.
We regained some of our energy and headed out to Doran Beach to look for seashells and fly some kites. I was surprised that it was quite windy and a little chilly, but otherwise a gorgeous day out there.

This really cool ship was sitting just off the coast.
