Meg's hair had gotten so long, but she was ready to cut it short.
Before:

After:

Myles was pretty shaggy. We like the new look better!
I don't have any pictures of how long Elsa's hair was. She was always wearing it up. It was almost to her waist though. We didn't get it cut quite as short as she would have liked because we still wanted to get it into a bun for the Kelso Highland Games in September. Perhaps after September she'll get it cut shorter.
Aeva got her usual cute and short cut:

Rhaevyn thought about a pixie cut, but our friend who was doing the haircut wasn't sure what would happen to her curls if she did. I absolutely love the cut Rhaevyn decided on. It looks super cute on her!
Here is my before and after:

Look at our quarantine's worth of hair!
I found a new recipe that I love.............well two recipes actually. Both are grain free and made with almond flour. One I use for sandwiches and pancakes. The other is a donut recipe. When I put fruit on the donut, it reminds me of strawberry shortcake. So yummy!
BLT with avocado...

Pancakes that are as light as air.

Dessert:
Getting ready for our church at home. I really love how personal it is. It's great having Aeva play the piano for us.
Aeva did some face painting this week on Meg....Kabuki style. Here she is eating her favorite vegetable.
Hamming it up for the camera:
A picture from the fish tank:

Myles's cello recital is online this year. Here is his submission for it. He is playing The Swan by Saint-Saens. He is so glad to finally be moving on from this song. It's been a tough one for him.....months and months of practicing to get it right (or passable).
Myles's cello teacher encouraged him to do something different either with dressing up, dressing uniquely, or filming outside or in a cool location. In the end, Myles decided just to wear his pilot hat, but here was one location that Rhaevyn thought would be funny:
What's a post without Molly:
It's always giggles and laughter when the kids and I have a dance party. Elsa had me try doing the Floss, which I think I completely failed at. It gave me a good chuckle to try it anyway.
My clematis is blooming!! I'm so thrilled! It such a pretty plant.
On a side note, the squirrels are taking the bulbs off my lights in the backyard, so now half of them don't light up anymore ðŸ˜
And just kidding!! I didn't really cut my hair short. In fact, you probably can't really even tell I got it cut. I got more of a trim with layers. I'll give it another couple of months, and then maybe I'll cut it again. I was so tempted to get a short haircut, but my friend who cuts my hair urged me to not cut it all off yet.
TTFN!
