She's Here!!!
Our little Christmas bundle arrived a bit early.
After my non stress test Thursday morning showed some dips in her heart rate the Maternal Fetal Medicine Doctor declared "today the day" to have her.
It was not what I had expected when I woke up that morning, and I was off to the hospital at 11 am, with great trepidation, to be induced. I've gone into labor on my own with my other four and thought this one would be no different. But I know life is not always as we plan it to be. I resolved myself to the fact that this was happening and I'd rather be safe then sorry.
As always Heavenly Father blessed me with wonderful nurses and midwife and a wonderful labor and birth experience.
They all came back the next day for dinner with me, and then Rhaevyn stayed overnight
with me.
She was such an amazing helper!! We had a fun night together :) She even helped with the hearing test the next day.
And now we are all home. The kids are enjoying their turn to hold little Meg and love her, hug her, and kiss her. She is one very loved and blessed baby to have sisters and a big brother who adore her!

Meg Aeverleigh Lindsay
was born at 6:30 am on Friday, December 13th.
She weighed 8lbs 5oz and was 20 1/2 inches.
Thanks to my best friend, all the kids got to be there as Meg entered into the world.
It was a joyous occasion all around!

A Wee Bit of Snow
I think I'm set and ready..............
by bags are packed, I got my hair done, and I even painted my toenails.
Just waiting now..................

Last week we got a dusting of snow. The kids put on their warm clothes and headed out a bit before it was completely melted.
We also made pineapple/cherry upside down cupcakes. I was trying to make a different recipe, but realized that I had remembered how to do it completely wrong. Oh well, they were still tastey and edible.
The kids are on pins and needles just waiting for baby to come. They ask every day if this will "be the day." If I go anywhere they want to make sure I'll call them if I go into labor.
I love how absolutely excited they are and how in love they already are with this little one.
We have more snow today..................time to go play :)

Happy December 1st
Stacey and Ben came down and spent Thanksgiving with us.
We are so glad that they did. What a magnificient time we had with them.
Thanksgiving and "The Dinner" would not have been the same without them!
I loved watching Stacey and Rhaevyn sit together and crochet.
Aeva spent her Thanksgiving day building Legos.
Myles was ready to decorate the tree!
He and Elsa did a fabulous job putting up the ornaments.
Elsa had some help from Uncle Ben..............reaching those high up places.
Stacey bought Ben some socks with toes in them. They looked so snazzy on him.

They all wanted to do some funny faces :)
