Pictures, pictures, pictures!

Rhaevyn was absolutely delighted about her saber that arrived on Monday.

Thanks to Opa, she's been on cloud nine!
She can't wait to show it to her Saturday fencing group and really try it out.

Saturday I went to my best friend's baby shower.
For this I made two pacifier strings.
I think they turned out pretty good.
It was a bit hard to find buttons that looked boyish.

I made two bibs, which turned out a lot better than the ones
I made for Elsa.
More practice I guess.

Last, but not least, I made her a really large receiving blanket.
These are the best for tightly swaddling babies.

I can always see the flaws in my work, and so I usually only make
things for people that I know don't care and love my work because it is from me.
I got the biggest compliment at the shower, though. At least one person wants two
binky strings, and two people said I should sell my stuff. Wow!
I am not sure I will, but it was nice to hear anyway.

Rhaevyn picked out a dress and leggings for Easter (thanks, Oma).

It looks super comfy, and I wish I could have a dress like it.
I wouldn't look as cute as Rhaevyn does, though.

Here is Aeva's dress.

She loves twirling in it.
And here is our Miss Elsa........

Our little Easter Egg!

I hope this video works. I am getting so frustrated
that the videos on the blog aren't seeming to work
for most of you.
This is footage of Elsa taking a few steps.
She is really starting to pick up the pace these days.

She absolutely loves music.

Wishing you all a sunshiny week!

Catching Up.

Happy Valentines Day!
We decorated 24 cupcakes.
We gave all the fancy, pretty ones away before I remembered to take pictures.

Elsa is really starting to chew.
I think she is my first baby who has never
choked on those biter biscuits.

My sweet girl.....

with a beautiful smile.

Who's wrestling who?

Purple Power!

I was giving Myles and bath and Elsa came in to see what was going on.
She stood on her tip toes and catapulted herself into the tub.
Gotta watch this little handful of exploration!

See what I have to endure??

Where's daddy?

There he is!

Oh and his eyes too!

Pretty Baby.

Who is that masked character???

It's Elsa the Energetic!

Here are just some miscellaneous videos of Elsa.

I hope they work. My apologies if the videos are still not playing. I am not quite sure what to do about that.

Wishing you all a lovely week.

All About Myles

See Myles.

See Myles with a mustache.

See Myles with a mustache and a goatee.

See Myles with shaving cream.

See Myles shave.
Myles had his final Hoppers class yesterday.
He will now advance to the Jack Rabbit class.
Next Tuesday is parents day, so we get to go play with him out on the field.
I actually remembered to bring my camera to his class this time.
I wish I had brought it last week. He did really well getting the soccer ball away from some of his classmates. I just love watching him in his class.
Warming Up.
He was excited that he got to the other side first.

Running backward.
This is Myles's least favorite thing.
Normally he won't do it, and ends up kind of galloping sideways.

The teacher was trying to get the kids to kick the ball and

then roll it with their foot in the opposite direction.

Playing keep away.

He was determined not to let the little girl get his soccer ball.

I wish I had gotten more of this.

I ran out of room/memory.

Myles ended up getting the ball from his teacher.

Making a goal.

End of Class.

He loves hopping on these things.

So, in a nutshell that is Myles's world of soccer.

Family Date Night

On Saturday Chris and I decided to surprise the kids and take them out to dinner and to the carousel.
We had received a Red Robin gift card at Christmas and thought they would enjoy a family date.
Chris and Rhaevyn met us at the restaurant after their three hour fencing get together.
They were quite pooped when they got there, and poor Rahevyn had a blister on her foot.

Where's the beef?

Elsa had to just be satisfied with Gerber puffs.

Myles trying out his lemonade.

Myles explains his coloring page at Red Robin.

What a treat....an appetizer of mozzarella sticks.

I happened to get a coupon for a free appetizer if we ordered two hamburgers.
We made our dollars stretch....Chris and I shared a burger, and Aeva and Rhaevyn shared a burger.

Myles wasn't too sure about the stringy cheese.

Mmmm....Oreo shake.
What a patient baby.

Myles got his own dinner.
He opted for a corn dog.

He took two bites and then exclaimed "Hey Mom, there's a hot dog in here!"

Say "cheese!"

Myles getting ready to ride the carousel.
This was Elsa's first ride ever on the merry go round.
This is like our big tradition with each child.

We love watching their reactions.

Since our first time with Rhaevyn, this horse, Amy,
has had many a Lindsay baby bottom ride on it.

After the ride....Elsa and Daddy.

Giddy-up Horsey!

Here is a short clip of Elsa's first ride.
She absolutely loved it, and she giggled the entire time.

Ahhhh children, nothing more precious!
