Mom and Me date.
I took my mom over to the beauty school and we got pedicures.
It was a blast!
Here we are modeling our freshly pampered feet and painted toenails.

Vacation: Day 7
We toured the Jelly Belly Factory.
Opa manned Elsa and her stroller, and Oma had Myles on one hand and Aeva on the other.
Rhaevyn was Christopher's tour buddy.
We all had to wear a hat.
It was pretty interesting learning how jelly beans are made and the art work that has been done with jelly bellies.
They had a tasting bar where you could taste any flavor you wanted.
We were treated to In and Out Burger after that. I wish we had one here.

Vacation: Day 8
We went down to San Francisco to visit my Nana, Papa and Aunt Donna.
What fun it was to visit.
How nice it would be to live so much closer to visit with them more often.

I loved watching the fog roll over the bridge.

Here he is in action.
Opa and Myles looking at a tanker.
It was such a beautiful day with a bit of a breeze.
Myles could hear the fog horn and the horn from the ship.
Say "cheese!"
I loved watching the fog roll over the bridge.
On our way down Myles kept asking where the golden egg was.
I had to tell him it was not a golden egg, but the Golden Gate and it was a bridge.
Then he wanted to know where the Golden Gage Bridge lived.
Myles loves his soccer outfit so much.
He tried to put on the shin guards by himself after getting ready for bed.
They were upside down, but good try.
Vacation: Day 9
Friday, Chris took the kids over to visit with his grandmother.
Aeva says her favorite part was just being able to see her.
Rhaevyn says she loved seeing great-grandma Hunter, but also loved playing with her birds.

Great Grandma Hunter and Elsa.
Parting Is Such Sweet Sorrow
As always, our vacation seemed to end as soon as it started.
It always goes by so fast.
So much to do and so much we wanted to do, but so little time.

And we are off.
Last Six Hours.
Here is Myles talking to himself.
Elsa listening to Chris play his didgeridoo.

Time to Say "goodbye."
Myles had to say goodbye to the kitchen counter tops one more time with his head.
Oma tries to make him feel better.

And we are off.
What an eventful first leg of the journey back home we had.
Myles decided he really needed to use the potty after being in the car 20 minutes and wanted the hotel like 10 minutes ago.
We finally pulled over between Fairfield and Vacaville.
Unfortunately not a real clean bathroom, and he wasn't having anything to do with it.
Meanwhile, Elsa had a blowout in her diaper and seat.
Myles was very happy to finally have the hotel bathroom that evening.
We stopped plenty of times during the day, so it was not his kidneys and bladder that were suffering.

Baby is Five Months Old!
Our little Elsa turned five months old last Monday.
All of us just can't get over how time is flying and how it doesn't seem possible for her to be this old.
Oh how she loves her big sister Rhaevyn.
She watches Rhaevyn with such intent, waiting for Rhaevyn to look at her.
When she does, Elsa gets the biggest smile on her face.
