Friday afternoon Myles and Chris left to go snow camping with the 11 year old scout troop. Myles couldn't wait for 4:30 pm to come! Setting up tents and cooking dinner were done by the light of flashlights. They had a beautiful full moon that reflected off the snow Friday night, so it was pretty bright at Old Man's Pass, which I always remember incorrectly and laughingly call it Dead Man's Pass 😜
They had a great time on the camp out and stayed pretty warm. They had two sleeping bags each, thermal undergarments, and I sent them with toe, hand, and body warmers. I was able to purchase some car sickness medicine, and that really helped Myles on the card ride up and back.

While waiting for me to come pick them up after they got back on Saturday, Myles got to try out the zipline at the home of one of his scout leaders.
Saturday morning Aeva and I had a pancake breakfast to go to for the Young Women in our ward and their leaders. We worked on personal progress and presentations for New Beginnings. I left Aeva there so I could take Rhaevyn and Meg to the Primary Pizza Party for all the kids and teachers. Poor Elsa is sick, so she was not able to go. KK's mom got some pictures of the two best buddies:
The leaders taught the Primary kids a dance that is well known at EFY. Super cute!

Meg was not happy that one of her other classmates hopped in the picture instead of KK. She really gets along with Spencer, and in fact when talking about her friends she always names him. Her face though......
There was this really bright orb out in the sky yesterday. I haven't seen it in so long I almost forgot what it looks like, feels like, and how it is hard to keep my eyes open when it is out.
Time to get out the sunglasses!
But seriously, the weather was so gorgeous, and the sky was so blue. There were huge, tall, puffy white clouds in the sky too. It was glorious!!

Cupcakes raised in celebration of such a short little life, but one that has made such an impact on our family:
I took Rhaevyn in with me Friday evening to deliver the quilts. The seven nurses at the nurses' station were so very sweet and grateful that I had brought them in. They were running low on quilts and said mine are usually the first ones to be given out. I explained that it was my Angel Baby day, and this is what I do for therapy. They were very touched and so was I.
As we left the birth center Rhaevyn put her arm around me as we walked and I cried. She made me laugh by saying we should take a picture in front of this sign.
As we got into the car and I started it up Rhaeyvn looked over at me and said that we should just sit for a bit and that it was okay to just let it all out. She turned the car off and just sat and hugged me as I let the tears fall. I thought to myself that I was so glad she came with me because three years ago to that evening she stayed the night with me in the hospital and sat next to me on the hospital bed and just hugged me while I cried as my heart broke into a million pieces. I love that girl of mine💕

Helping Meg with her scissor skills this week:
Meg picked out her material. It was kind of a foamy leather, and then she picked out big buttons. KK's mom helped her sew the ribbon on that held the buttons.
Myels's had Sister Lee helping him to sew his fleece on once he'd cut it and stretched it.
I chose this soft fabric and a zipper, but I wanted there to be nice bright colors seen once the zipper was unzipped.
This is Myles's seed, and its name is "Salad". This is his third try, so we shall see if anything happens.
I was given a sunflower seed and ended up giving it to Rhaevyn. It is progressing nicely.

After verbally giving me a list of movies to look for at the library Meg says "You got that?"
When asking Meg if she would like me to make her pancakes for breakfast she replied pointing both pointer fingers at me "Yes! And your pancakes, not some gross pancakes."
Talking about killing two birds with one stone Myles asked if we could change that up a bit and say "shooting two turkeys with one bullet."
Rhaevyn and I had a bit of fun at the Ace Hardware store in town.....
with the plunger rifle! Even the workers thought it was great fun that we were having.

Aeva received her acceptance letter for Fall quarter at BYU Provo!!!!!!! She is over the moon about it. We are so very thrilled for her💗
Ha ha I am glad I bought the cuddle duds for her 😊
