Love and hugs to our moms, grandmothers and aunties this Mother's Day.
I am so thankful to be a mom. I truly feel blessed to have been given the opportunity to be a mom to my sweet, energetic, entertaining and wonderful children. I can't imagine a better calling in life. I absolutely cherish it.
I've had a wonderful Mother's day so far.
Myles and Aeva helped me clean out the van yesterday.

Chris put together the stroller last night at Midnight.

Short story: We had a stroller that we purchased just before Elsa was born. Chris put it together about two weeks ago. Unfortunately, when he got it all put together, I realized that the seat didn't recline all the way. I am kind of a stickler about that. I was so upset with myself that I had purchased a stroller without making sure it would fully recline. I thought to myself "how could I have done that?" Then I thought again. It was pretty obvious how that happened. After going to three stores, spending about four hours looking for a stroller that didn't cost an arm and a leg and folded up easily and compactly, being eight months pregnant, tired, starving and having a full bladder.....I knew how I had made that mistake. I remember Chris reassuring me that I didn't have to just buy the one we bought. We could wait, but no, I decided we couldn't.
Can I just say I am married to an awesome man because without complaint he took the whole stroller apart and packed it up all nice and neat to be taken back to the store so that I could purchase a stroller that does fully recline. I love you, dear!
He also washed my van for me yesterday.
And then he put my birthday present on the van from my friend, Sam.
The girls sang me my new favorite Primary song.
And Elsa, well, she's just a love bug.....she's a gift in and of herself.
This past week I went through Myles' clothes . He has grown out of all his 2T and some 3T. I got out the next bag of hand-me-downs. I think he thought he was in heaven because there were all these new clothes to wear. He was especially excited about the three pairs of Lightning McQueen pajamas and the buzz Lightyear shirt. He has been wanting to wear this Hawaiian outfit all week long.

On Friday he decided he needed to find it and change into it before going outside to play and enjoy the sunshine. When I walked in his room this is what I found.

Elsa is a month old already. That went by way too fast. I can't believe it has really been a whole month since she was born.
I've already had to pack away some of her clothes. She is really starting to fill out and is even getting rolls on her thighs. I just love it! I caught a smile on camera. She always smiles when she is dreaming in her sleep. She cracks me up because she is just like Myles and often sleeps/dreams with her eyes open.
I rearranged the girls school schedule for the remainder of the school year. They will be doing a majority of their work on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. This way I have lots of extra time on Tuesdays and Thursday just for Myles. We tried it out this week, and I think he and I were a lot happier. We got to spend lots of time reading and playing together.

Here is Rhaevyn doing what she loves best.......holding Elsa.

The End.
